Just wanted to say 'have fun' to all those going to London tomorrow. I shall have a house full of teenage girls for a sleepover for my daughters birthday. I know where I'd rather be!
Anyway have a great time and have a drink for all of us not able to be there!

My daughter brought the book home from the school library - have been sneaking it to read when she's asleep!
Have suggested she might like to see the film when it's released and that if she likes I'll take her. What a kind, unselfish mother I am!

I obviously listen to the wrong stations as I never hear adverts with Julian in. Perhaps I should write and ask him to do some especially for Bristol!

It sounds like you all had a great time - I am sooo jealous! I am working hard on going to see the play but a combination of no money, too many children (only 3 but it seems like more!) and a husband who works ridiculous hours is stopping the plan. Anyway, it's great to hear that Julian is indeed as...

I knew I bought the Observer for a reason!
It made my day when I turned the page and saw the review - so easily pleased! :)

Thanks for all these reviews - so tied up with family this weekend didn't get to see any apart from the Guardian. Great that the actors, especially Julian, all receive praise. Didn't realise how worried I was that the reviews wouldn't be good; I just want everyone to know how brilliant Julian is, I ...

This was reviewed in the Guardian on Saturday - don't know why it took them so long!
The book itself got a good review and the reading from Julian was called infectious.
They recomended it to buy - so all good!

Yes, I watched it. Thought it was brilliant and really well acted. Very funny but also very tender in places.

I've been away, so very happy to come back to these! Even my husband (who is bemused by my love for Julian) grudgingly admitted that he looked "alright" in the first picture. Mind you he has banned me from using it as a screensaver - probably sensible as I wouldn't get passed that to do an...

Julian on 4radio

There is an hours interview (in two parts) with Julian on channel4 radio on a programme called Worldwide Music Guide. He talks about places he has visted and plays music he likes. He talks about living in Paris for two years (because of a woman!), playing the cello and learning to tango in Argentina...
