mug-a-celebrity sale

Greetings from lovely Edinburgh. Haven't seen this posted yet. I was almost tempted to not mention this (I don't need the extra competition!), but I got an email from the Mug-A-Celebrity people and they are putting Julian's mug (among others) up for auction, starting on November 1. Here's their webs...

Okay, I am really quite annoyed right now. No Marple. My local PBS station decided, for some unfathomable reason, to re-air a Roy Orbison concert from 1989. And as far as I can tell, it's not a case of simply delaying Marple for a week. They just won't air it at all (next week on the schedule...

You have my deepest sympathies, g&c. I have exactly two days off in the entire month of August, and I'm already starting to go a bit bonkers... :sos:

Bloody money...although, the exchange rate is very much in our favour at the moment!

Yeah, thank you for reminding me of that. :P

I'm going to see Saint Joan on Sept 12, so if anyone in Julian-land is desperately looking for something to do that night, you are more than welcome to join me. I'm not too scary.

Will try to see The Emperor Jones as well, just haven't decided what night yet. Hooray for £10 tickets.

When speaking with Dr Mac-a-like, did you ever happen to let slip that he reminded you of a certain fraise-blonde...?

Also, can I pimp these links on the Mangan forum?

You may. As many people as possible should see the adorableness that is the Mangan. :)

Oh Mac V, I'm so sorry. I don't really have any magical make-everything-better advice (I wish I did). But chatterbox is right. Even though it probably sounds impossible right now, you will make it through this. Remember that all of us are here for you. xo

Let us know if The Emperor Jones is good. If the holiday gods smile on me and the finances work out, I *might* be back in the UK in September, as a slightly early birthday present to myself. :) It'll be on my list of things to see/do.

As promised, clips from Marple. Lots of Mangan, and Mark's character was a bit Statham-ish. I'll also do clips when the JRT Marple airs.
